IDKit Multimodal SDK is a biometric SDK designed for 1:N and 1:1 fingerprint and face matching. IDKit Multimodal SDK allows developers to harness powerful multimodal biometric capabilities in one flexible, user-friendly development solution.  The SDK can facilitate fingerprint and facial biometrics and can be scaled to meet the needs of any kind of small and middle size identity management projects.

IDKit library contains a proprietary high-speed face and fingerprint matching algorithm, suitable for the most demanding applications. This allows the verification and identification to be performed by using both modalities with resulting partial scores and one overall fused score.

IDKit Multimodal SDK has powerful identification functions which allow an unknown applicant to be found in a database using only one (or more) face or fingerprint images. Identification is strongly optimized for accuracy and speed.

IDKit Multimodal SDK library compares identities (1:1 matching) based on fingerprint and facial biometrics and calculates their similarity scores. Various verification strategies are supported by combining the use of one or more face images, or one or more fingerprints (one finger, more fingers, more images of the same finger).

Database management functions enable storage and retrieval of all records in/from a database. Applications using IDKit Multimodal SDK may optionally store both face/fingerprint templates and face/fingerprint images.  Another convenient feature is the option to store specific data for each applicant, such as username, address, e-mail, etc. For enhanced security, database encryption can be enabled. With this feature, all data is automatically encrypted by AES (Advanced Encryption Standard).
