Innovatrics has once again proven its leadership in fingerprint matching technology with a new submission to the NIST PFT III benchmark. The latest results confirm exceptional accuracy, further solidifying the company’s position among the world’s top biometric providers.

In this submission results particularly stood out in the Port of Entry, Bio Visa Application and USA Visit #2 originating from the real-life border control projects.

The PFT III (Proprietary Fingerprint Template) is an independent benchmark conducted by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). It evaluates the accuracy and speed of fingerprint matching algorithms using proprietary templates rather than raw images.

The benchmark is critical for agencies tasked with identity verification at a scale, especially in border control and civil identification contexts, where fast and reliable fingerprint matching is essential.
