Read moreInnovatrics has launched Multi-Range Liveness, a new active liveness check, designed specifically for regulated markets and other high-risk digital journeys.
By evaluating multiple frames and adding random challenges to every session, Multi-Range Liveness gives organizations an extra layer of control to meet strict KYC and eID requirements without rebuilding existing onboarding flows. Users are asked to capture a short sequence of selfies at different distances from the camera while the system confirms that a real person is in front of the device.
As users follow on-screen instructions and move closer to or further from the lens, the device captures multiple images for active liveness evaluation and video injection detection, making it significantly harder for deepfake or replay attacks to pass as genuine traffic. At the same time, the flow is designed to keep non-completion rates low and preserve an intuitive user experience.

Multi-Range Liveness is suitable for use cases such as remote customer onboarding, bank account opening, loan approval, SIM registration, age verification, and secure access to e-government portals, where regulators expect stronger proof of presence and robust protection against presentation and injection attacks. Deployed alongside Innovatrics’ broader liveness and video injection detection stack, it strengthens fraud controls while keeping identity verification fully digital.
