New IDKit SDK v1.20: integrated data encryption, improved accuracy and higher speeds on multicore processors.

Innovatrics has released new version of IDKit, with customers' most requested features:

Fingerprint core engine

• Matching speed improvement through better support of systems with multiple processors and processors with multiple cores. Matching algorithm now optimally uses all available processors and cores, which results in 2x speed improvement on double core processors (like Intel Core Duo) and even more on systems with more processors/cores.
• Better fingerprint recognition accuracy: improvement of algorithm's accuracy; both extraction and matching precision were improved.
• Better user feedback: possibility to display extracted minutiae, possibility to access to minutiae coordinates and angles.

Database management

• Database encryption: fingerprint templates and images stored in the database can be automatically encrypted using AES algorithm.
• Possibility to easily store/retrieve application related data, such as user name, address or email together with fingerprint data.
• "Selective" identification: possibility to perform identification search in selection, not only on the whole database (example: you need to search through women only, or persons whose name starts by A, ...)

Communication

• Improved export/import functions: introduction of user structure serialization / deserialization functions, for easy bulk data trasfer.
• (IDKit PRO) Added possibility to compress data between Client and Server parts of IDKit PRO, which decreases communication time.
• (IDKit PRO) Possibility to connect Mobile SDK to IDKit PRO Server (Mobile SDK acts as Client to IDKit PRO Server).
