Innovatrics releases IDKit SDK for Linux.

Following ongoing customer requests, Innovatrics has ported its fingerprint SDK IDKit to Linux operating system. System integrators and developers may now use IDKit to develop fingerprint identificaton applications on Linux, such as:

- Enrolment stations (Preventing individuals to enroll more than once)
- Access control systems (Visitors tracking)
- Network logon applications for employees (SSO, Password replacement)
- Identification kiosks for customers (Membership and loyalty programs for Retail, Banks)
- Time & attendance applications (Schools, Enterprises)

Using Linux ensures the stability and lowers the total costs of the application's installation.

System requirements:
* Linux 2.6 and up,
* GCC-3.3.x or newer,
* Fingerprint scanner with Linux drivers.
