Innovatrics introduces support for Datastrip DSV handheld biometric terminals
Global fingerprint technology leader Innovatrics introduces support for Datastrip DSV handheld biometric terminals, which are designed for mission-critical ID verification programs. The unit is ergonomically designed to be held comfortably in the user’s hand and can be configured to operate for up to 14 hours.
IDKit Mobile is the fastest fingerprint SDK on the market, allowing to search up to 40 000 fingerprints per second (Intel PXA 270 @624MHz) locally on the mobile device. This allows customers to identify people or de-duplicate enrollments locally on the device. In addition to speed, IDKit Mobile SDK uses Innovatrics' minutiae and pattern matching technique, which ensures best accuracy.
Innovatrics IDKit Mobile SDK also offers the possibility for multiple fingerprint mobile devices to connect to a central ExpressID AFIS Fingerprint Matching Server for wireless identification against a central fingerprint database. In this case, all fingerprint identification functions are performed on the AFIS Matching Server, only fingerprint template extraction is done locally.
