Innovatrics fingerprint recognition system is fully compliant with ANSI and ISO international biometric standards

The support of international biometric standards guarantees the compatibility and interoperability and is, therefore, often required by the final customer, especially government agencies. Tom Ridge, outgoing US Secretary of Homeland Security, has announced on January 2005 that the "common international standards of biometrics must be developed -- the sooner, the better" in order to "ensure maximum interoperability between systems and maximum privacy for citizens". Innovatrics fingerprint recognition components support ANSI standard (ANSI INCITS 378-2004) as well as the developing ISO standard (ISO/IEC SC37/19794-2). Since March 2005 Innovatrics is participating in the international competition MINEX (Minutiae Interoperability Exchange Test) organized by the US government NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). MINEX purpose is to evaluate the compatibility and interoperability between the existing fingerprint recognition system providers. The final results should be available in Q4 2005. We are impatient And you ?
