CROSS MATCH TECHNOLOGIES PARTNERS WITH INNOVATRICS TO CREATE COMPLETE EXTRACT AND MATCH OFFERING
Strategic Partnership Enables Cross Match to Deliver FIPS 201, PIV and HSPD-12 Compliant Solution
Palm Beach Gardens, FL, October 26, 2006 - Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of high-quality interoperable biometric identity applications and solutions, today announced its partnership with Innovatrics, a leading provider of advanced algorithms and consulting services, to license Innovatrics’ Minutiae Interoperability Exchange Test (MINEX) compliant Minutiae ANSI/INCITS 378 Matching Algorithm. Bundled with Cross Match’s Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 201 compliant template generator to create Cross Match’s ANSI/INCITS 378 Minutiae Extract and Match software, the new product gives Cross Match a FIPS 201, Personal Identity Verification (PIV) and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) compliant extract and match solution.
With this template generator and matcher software, Cross Match is able to better support its system integration partners and enhance its current FIPS 201 compliant offerings including the release of a fully compliant FIPS 201 physical access control reader. As agencies move towards PIV 2 compliance, Cross Match remains well positioned in the substantial new market.
