GWI adopts Innovatrics Mobile component to identify patients in hospitals
Guyot-Walser Informatique, leading traceability software vendor for french medical market, rapidly integrates Innovatrics Mobile component into its blood transfusion traceability software.
The software application, running on a HP iPAQ hx2750 PocketPC, identifies patients by fingerprints and assigns them the appropriate blood bag. This application signals the expanding acceptance and recognizable value of using a reliable method to access patient data on a mobile device, that is more convenient than code-bars printed on wrist-bands.
